Chemical Hygeine Plan for MS&E Teaching Labs
Chemical Hygeine Plan for MS&E teaching labs (Heat Treating, Microscopy, Sample Prep, Mechanical Testing, and X-Ray). All sections of the Chemical Safety and Disposal Guide referred to are at Safety's Website.

Emergency Evacuation Sign (back side)
as posted around the MS&E building. A larger version of the full-bruilding map is here, and a larger version of the evacuation plan text from the back of the sign is here.

Emergency Information (blue) Card
Blue emergency info card as posted outside all labs. I got tired or writing these out and created one as a giant WordPerfect table. I also added extra info about where the main power for each lab is located (we're a research building too, and everything uses a lot of power). If you'd like it in a different format, send me an email and if I have time I'll work on converting it.

Directions for Handling Suspicious Mail and Potential Bomb Threats
I created this shortly after September 11, 2001, in response to requests from building occupants for extra information on how to deal with mail that might be contaminated (bioterrorism, spilled materials, etc.). We districuted it to all Department staff along with bags and gloves, and offered teh same kits to all of the faculty. The standard kit was a pair of gloves, a dust mask, a copy of these directions, and an already-assembled triple-bag pack.
