Design a laparoscopic banding instrument for tubal sterilization of women that is less traumatic and more dependable than the current device, which is cumbersome, rough and inaccurate.

1 January 26 Met with client, Dr. Thomas Julian
2 February 2 Assembled PDS and brainstormed design ideas
3 February 9 Revised PDS
4 February 16 Identified possible design ideas and began thinking about mid-semester presentation
5 February 23 Began working on slides for the mid-semester powerpoint presentation
6 March 2 Worked on Mid-Semester Presentation
7 March 9 Delivered Mid-Semester Presentation
8 March 16 Scheduled meeting with Dr. Julian to finalize design
9 March 23 Began finalizing materials for prototype
10 March 30 Bought materials to build prototype and began construction of device
11 April 6 Continued construction of device and brainstormed solutions to problems with prototype
12 April 13 Constucted final prototype to be displayed at the poster presentation
13 April 20 Created poster and practiced presentation
14 April 27 Final Poster Presentation
15 May 4 Finished Paper
