To build a safe system for infecting animals that range in size from 40-50 gm up to 1 kg (e.g., for infecting mice, rats, and rabbits). The system should have built in all the necessary safety measures to prevent the escape of infectious materials (especially those of Biological Safety Level 3) from the infection chamber to the surrounding environment.
