Project Overview

The current medical procedure of Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy (FNAB) is unable many times to extract sufficient cell samples for detection of abnormal cells. Our goal is to improve both the technique and the extraction device to maintain the use of a 20 guage or smaller needle while extracting sufficient cells for accurate cytological diagnosis.
