Project Timeline

Week Reporting Period Beginning Activities
1 January 24 Define team roles, outline semester goals.
2 January 31 Meet with client, Evaluate Sensitivity of Instron 1000, Plan completion of creep testing system.
3 February 7 Order parts for creep chamber, register for BME Symposium, start writing grant proposal.
4 February 14 Continue construction of creep/tensile testing system, continue writing grant proposal.
5 February 21 Get ADC working, continue machining, grant proposal
6 February 28 Finish machining of prototype, prepare presentation.
7 March 7 Midsemester Presentation
8 March 14 Test creep testing system, continue writing grant proposal, prepare for BME symposium.
9 March 21 Incorporate data logging software into creep testing system.
10 March 28 Start writing final paper, run some creep tests,
11 April 4 Investigate temperature control, continue writing final paper and grant proposal
12 April 11 Run more creep tests, continue writing final paper and grant proposal
13 April 18 Finish grant proposal, final paper, prepare presentation and poster.
14 April 25 Final presentation
15 May 2 Final paper due, meeting with advisor
