**Menard's trip to investigate possible head parts/knobs available
MONDAY NOVEMBER 18:
** Outline the paper and divide sections to each individual.
** E-mail client about finances
WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 20:
** ORDER the solenoid valve via Corrine
FRIDAY NOVEMBER 22:
** Dimensions for grinder chamber all picked out
** Design, dimensions and materials all picked out for the insulator.
MONDAY NOVEMBER 25:
** All cylinder components first ordered should have arrived by now.
** Really good drawings for the machining of sample chamber done.
** Group meeting.
WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 27:
** Material for insulator ordered or picked up during Thanksgiving break while
in the cities.
** Give drawings to Steve, the machinist Ryan knows, for the grinding chamber.
THANKSGIVING BREAK NOV 28-DEC 1:
** Work on all the paper parts!
MONDAY DECEMBER 2:
** Solenoid should be here by now.
** Framework for the device, cylinder attachment built.
(No group meeting today - work on machining or other parts instead - we will
probably need to meet at other times throughout this week to get all our things
done by Friday)
WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 4:** Let client know what we need for initial testing in the next week (liver specimen - and how much?)
FRIDAY DECEMBER 6:
** Have paper written. Give all your parts to Sara by Friday.
** Outline Poster and assign parts.
** Pick up chamber from machinist. (PAY HIM with what funds?)
** Functioning cylinder with solenoid connected and tubing, (CYLINDER AND FRAME
ALL DONE)
** Have insulated chamber integrated into the prototype. (INSULATOR CHAMBER
DONE)
WEEKEND 7-8:
** Sara will put together the paper parts and send out a final draft over the
weekend.
** Have poster sections done this weekend (this will help cut down on time Thursday)
** Head attachment to the device. (HEAD DONE)
** Add in grinding chamber to final device, (add in venting tubes) -- (CHAMBER
DONE)
MONDAY DECEMBER 9:
** Group meeting - progress of poster parts discussed.
** Prototype Done
** Design protocol for testing of prototype
TUESDAY DECEMBER 10:
** Send corrections of paper back to Sara by TUESDAY MORNING - by 10 AM.
** Initial testing of prototype Tuesday or Wednesday (in Dr. Ross's lab?)
THURSDAY DECEMBER 12:
** Paper finalized and DONE!
** Poster DONE! (Plan on the group getting together that afternoon and evening
to put this together and doing nothing else that night! (Remember last semester)).
FRIDAY DECEMBER 13: POSTER PRESENTATON AND PAPER DUE, NOTEBOOKS DUE TO ADVISOR. PEER EVALUATIONS.
DEC 16-19: FINAL DESIGN MEETING
