Project Timeline

Week Reporting Period Beginning Activities
1 September 3 Formed group, selected project, individuals selected role on team, contacted client
2 September 10 Met with client, assessed project, brainstormed possible designs
3 September 17 Worked on Product Design Specifications (PDS), finalized possible designs
4 September 24 Attended Team Dynamics lecture, met with client to take pictures, began Project Builder web page, researched possible materials
5 October 1 Chose designs on each team, began to work on mid-semester presentation
6 October 8 Chose final design, finished mid-semester presentation, presented designs, began to work on mid-semester report
7 October 15 Finished mid-semester report
8 October 22 Researched materials, researched methods needed to construct our design
9 October 29 Met with client to discuss final design
10 November 5 Contacted mechanic, began construction of prototype
11 November 12 Made final measurements to finalize design details, worked with mechanic to finish prototype
12 November 19 Began testing prototype, made small alterations to prototype
13 November 26 Continued testing design, began to work on final poster presentation
14 December 3 Presented final design and prototype, wrote final report on project
