In order to avoid electrocardiograph malfunction, universal quality standards have been set up. An inexpensive device that could be used to test the conformity of ECG machines (see below for picture) with those quality standards is needed. The goal is to be able to use that device to test conformity with as many criteria as possible, and in the most inexpensive way possible so that it can be afforded by under developed countries.

| 1 | January 21 | Met with Professor Webster, the client-advisor. We discussed some ECG machine quality standards, and we went over the project as a whole. |
| 2 | January 28 | The whole team met to decide on which path the team should take Several issues were addressed. (See progress report for more details). Began coming up with ideas for the PDS. |
| 3 | February 4 | We have finished working on the PDS. The PDS includes an extensive list of all the ECG machine criteria we will be testing. |
| 4 | February 11 | Our group got together several times this week to prepare fo the Midsemester presentaion. |
| 5 | February 18 | Prepared, and turned in our mid semester paper. |
| 6 | February 25 | Worked on building our circuit. |
| 7 | March 4 | Bought parts for the circuit, found casing to enclose out tester, worke on building the circuit. |
| 8 | March 11 | Worked on building our circuit. |
| 9 | March 18 | Developed the DC off set |
| 10 | March 25 | SPRING BREAK!!! |
| 11 | April 1 | Worked on building our circuit. |
| 12 | April 8 | Developed our project, worked on building casing and circuitry |
| 13 | April 22 | We have created our poster. Prepared our presentaiton for friday. |
| 14 | April 29 | We have finished final paper and conducted the final tests on a Burdick Eclipse 800 Electrocardiograph. |
| 15 | May 6 | We have rewritten the final report. |
