Project Overview

The goal of this project is to design and build a device consisting of a sound-attenuating chamber that contains two compartments divided by a wire panel. One side will contain a sound-generating device and a floor plate that will measure the force applied by a mouse. The other side will contain an existing floor made of parallel metal bars that can be electrified using an existing 8-channel shock generator with scrambler, and, if possible, can also measure the force applied by a second mouse. A recorded visual output of the force applied on the floor by the mouse must be generated.
