On many of the CAE computers, you will find an Adobe PDF toolbar in Microsoft Word. Using the PDFWriter macro, you can easily create a PDF document with an automatic list of contents. The PDF contents list works best if you used the styles for headings (as opposed to formatting individual text sections manually).

  1. In Word, click the PDFWriter button on the toolbar.

  2. Select a file name and location. Afterwards, a window will pop-up showing PDFWriter's progress.

  3. Check your file when PDFWriter is complete.

If you have problems with this method, try printing your document to the PDFWriter printer.
