Mission Statement

The ultimate goal of this project is to design and fabricate a device to monitor the compliance of a patient to a specific back exercise. There are five primary design requirements which the device must successfully perform. The device must monitor the spine in two planes (sagittal and tansverse), motivate the patient through interactive software, demonstate the proper exercise technique, quantify the exercise(both in repition and time), and finally export the compliance data for further clinical application.
