Problem Statement: To design a device that completes the preparation
process done manually to prep a tissue sample for biochemical analysis. The
device should freeze the tissue (with liquid nitrogen) and then grind it to
a powder.
Restatement of Team Goals: N/A.
Summary of Accomplishments:
1. Chose project last Friday, January 25, 2002.
2. Assigned roles for each group member.
3. Contacted the client: meeting schedule for Friday, February 1, 8:15am at
626 McArdle.
4. Read over problem statement given, formed initial questions for client
meeting.
Team Goals for Next Week:
1. Get questions answered at client meeting, and gain an understanding of
the procedure currently being used in the lab.
2. Plan a rough time-line for the semester
3. Begin background research
