Project Overview

To design a small ventilation system with filter which could be attached to the instrument tray during a vertebroplasty surgery procedure and remove noxious odors caused by the exposed surgical polymer.

5 Work on prototype to quantify size of hood needed
6 Observe a vertebroplasty surgery procedure

10 Generate specific measurements for our device
11 Begin development of a functional prototype
12 Continue work on prototype
13 Begin testing of the prototype
14 Complete testing of the prototype
