MIDILIB Programming Library

MIDILIB is a library that plays MIDI files on the OPL2 FM synthesizer present on all Sound Blaster compatible sound cards. The library is designed for use in games and may require slight modifications to play specific MIDI files. The current version is tuned for MIDI files that have up to 6 simultaneous melodic voices and 3 percussive voices. (Base drum, snare drum, hi-hats) I will make modifications to suit your purposes.

Possible configurations are:

9 melodic voices and no percussion
6 melodic voices + 5 percussive voices (2-op: base drum, 1-op: snare drum, tom-toms, top-cymbals, and hi-hats)

Currently available versions:

Turbo Pascal real mode
Borland C real mode
Watcom C DOS/4GW protected mode
Borland C DPMI32 protected mode
