I AM STILL DOING MY PRESEASON RANKINGS AND CONFERENCE PICKS, THOUGH (WHICH FOLLOW ON THIS PAGE). There will not be ratings (e.g., 90.40, 88.75) or HFA's. If things go according to plan (can that happen?), I should be able to do something after the bowls and maybe before the bowls, as well. Due to time considerations, only I-A teams are on this year's page. As the NFL is easier to do, and as I have that set up in a time-saving manner, I WILL STILL DO WEEKLY NFL RANKINGS THIS YEAR. My preseason NFL info will be on my NFL page after the last exhibition games and before the first regular season games. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + PRESEASON ACCURACY: Over the last 5 years, my preseason top 25 lists have been quite accurate, according to the Wall Street Journal! Look for an article around 8/25/06 or 8/26/06! My preseason conference predictions have done well (at least in some years) in Chris Stassen's calculations. In 2003 & 2000, CPA Rankings was #1 and I've been #1 for some multi-year periods, too. See my description page for links. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + WHAT'S NEW FOR 2006: In 2004 and 2005, there were massive conference changes as the ACC raided the Big East and several conferences got into the raiding party. Other conferences had ZERO changes. But, that's all done! All the same teams are in the same conferences in 2006 as they were in 2005. There are some changes in I-AA, but I have not been able to take a close look at those. Enjoy the season.
