NOTE
1-The primary factors determine the
division rankings, the division rankings determine the secondary
factors, and the secondary factors eliminate the division rankings'
remaining ties.
HOW TEAMS ARE
RANKED
1-Teams are ranked most to least primary points.
2-If
primary points are equal, teams are ranked best to worst won-lost
record.
3-If won-lost records are equal, teams are ranked highest to
lowest schedule strength.
4-If schedule strengths are equal, teams
are ranked most to least net points.
5-If net points are equal, teams
are ranked highest to lowest highest ranked opponent defeated. If
equal, subsequent highest ranked opponents defeated are compared until
no ties or opponents defeated remain.
6-If all highest ranked
opponents defeated are equal, teams are ranked highest to lowest highest
ranked opponent played. If equal, subsequent highest ranked
opponents played are compared until no ties or opponents played remain.
If all highest ranked opponents played are equal, teams remain
tied.
