This ranking process is not a finished product. It was developed early in the 1999 season and it has been adjusted slightly with each passing week. That's the nice thing about statistics; if you don't like what they tell you, you can always make them tell you something different. The goal is to have a final and stabilized process by the end of the season. I'll bet the big guys are already assessing the impact of this media event ...
