CPA RETRODICTION RANKINGS - NFL - TM

It's time for the Super Bowl.? Both of my systems are picking the
Colts over the Saints.? That would make former Saint Archie Manning
happy (he's the father of Colt QB Peyton Manning).? Quite a few of
the Colts have been to (& won) the Super Bowl before.? This is the
first time ever that New Orleans has been there.
I wish I could have had this page out earlier, but the end of January is
probably my busiest time of the year, with all of the payroll tax returns
that are due, plus getting out W-2's & 1099's.? I even prepared Canada's
version of the 1099-MISC's (called T4A-NR's -- the nonresident version).
HAITI
Let us all pray for the victims of the earthquake there.? If the economy
hasn't slammed you (yet), the Red Cross & Salvation Army are good
& effective charities for this type of disaster.? Their info is on my home pg.
TERRORISM
A terrorist would have taken down a plane flying from Europe to Detroit
had it not been for alert & brave passengers.? God bless them!? But why
was there no air marshal on an international flight to the US?? Why
wasn't a Muslim man in his 20's or 30's searched carefully?? Why does
Obama now refer to terrorism as "man-made disasters" -- in down-
playing terrorism?? Bringing Gitmo terrorists into the US is insane.

Judicial tyranny is evil.? Support
our WRITTEN Constitution!

CHANGE
The American people declared independence from a government that did not?
care about the will of our people.
Obama: I will give you change.
We the People of the United States have a Constitution that limits the?
scope of government.
Obama: I will give you change.
We have freedom which historically has been respected by our government.?
Obama: I will give you change.
We have economic freedom which allows us to prosper.? We have jobs and
are able to make a living.
Obama: I will give you change.
Premature babies, the elderly, and the poor can receive the best health?
care in the world, even if they can?t afford it.
Obama: I will give you change.
We do not have a ?cap and trade? statute which necessitates our utilities?
and automotive costs to sky rocket, destroying jobs.
Obama: I will give you change.
Our federal government has defied the will of the people.? It has incurred?
massive debts in order to fund political payoffs.? It is trying to destroy?
our health care system and our economy.? The people of Massachusetts have?
elected Scott Brown to the U.S. Senate to change the dangerous course of?
the federal government.
Obama:? What stupid fool told you that you should have change?? A penny for?
your thoughts.
People:? We just gave you our two cents worth.? Keep the change.?
HEALTH CARE DEPRIVATION BILL
?According to the Wall Street Journal (1/14/10), the [health care] bill?
includes a serious marriage penalty. A married couple making $50,000 will?
pay $2,100 more for their health care coverage than a cohabiting couple?
making the same amount.? ? The American Family Association

?
Remember, there is no HFA applicable in the Super Bowl.? The Who will rock!

Note: the HFA's below are half-HFA's.? Add the HFA's for each team??
together to determine the Home Field Advantage for each game.?
Example:??
???????? Rating?? HFA
Team A??? 50.00?? 1.40??
Team B??? 48.00?? 0.80??
Neutral: A > B by 2.00.? Total HFA = 2.20??
B at A: A by 4.20.?? A at B: B by 0.20.??
If a game pick adds to a tie, add 0.01 to the home team,
whether for straight up or for ATS.
Note that HFA's are not used (i.e., they are zero) in neutral games.? The
Super Bowl is always neutral.? Usually, that's the only neutral NFL game
of the year.? But the games played outside the U.S. are also neutral &
this year there have been 2 regular-season foreign site games: in week 7,
N Eng v T Bay @ London & week 13, NY Jets v Buff @ Toronto.
CPA RANKINGS - NFL (TM)
NFL victory margins are capped at 30 points for the whole?
season.? NFL teams are not generally expected to be favored?
by more than 30 points for a game.? Note that rating?
changes also occur due to prior opponents' performances, etc.
CPA Rkgs is #1 (by 7) ATSW, YTD, in the Prediction Tracker with 1 game
to go.? It is #2 (by 1 game) for straight-up wins.

Note that some differences in methodology exist between the
NCAA and NFL systems.? HFA's differ from CPA Rankings, are not
used in calculating these rankings, but are to be used in
calculating predictions from this system.? Note that this is
primarily a retrodictive system, not a predictive one.
