Abstract

Distortion always occurs while capturing bound document images 
using digital cameras. In our project, we adopt a cylindrical model to 
rectify the bound document images. Morphological and other image 
processing techniques are used to improve the performance. The algorithm's
validity is examined by using a variety of distorted images. The 
performance and utilization is also discussed.
