COURSE ACCOUNT IE320 Forging In Hades - Expert Level Welding 2 Credits
Turn up the heat, goshdarnit! This course focuses on instruction in highly advanced welding techniques, with hands on training so stressed that the student will feel like they are stuck to the metal. The bulk of the work will be done using the Hephaestus Plasmic Welding Machine, as well as discussion of the intricacies of plasma-based welding.

Near the close of the course, students may enlist for the Underwater Welding Technique Mini-course option, crosslisted with Underwater Basket Weaving. MSE 606 (the "Deep Six" course) is only offered in the spring semester.
