WELCOME TO NTG!
Members of NTG, Assistant Professor Irena Knezevic's research group, use a variety of analytical and numerical techniques to address a wide range of problems in modern solid state electronics:
- Simulation of electronic and optoelectronic semiconductor devices
- Heat transport at the nanoscale. Nanowire thermoelectrics
- Decoherence and relaxation in nanostructures; transient and high-frequency response
- Transport in curved 2D electronic systems
- Solid-state based quantum information
For a detailed description of current and recent projects, please check the Research link.
We collaborate with the University of Wisconsin experimentalists from the departments of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Physics, and Materials Science and Engineering, and are also associated with UW MRSEC. For a full list of collaborators, as well as news and upcoming conferences, please check under Links.
Sponsors: Our work has been funded by the NSF, AFOSR, DOD, DARPA, and the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation.
