I am currently a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin - Madison in the electrical and computer engineering
department
. My studies began here in the fall semester of 2006. My research interests focus on RFID and wireless
communication
under my advisor, Professor Akbar Sayeed. Currently I am focusing on the RFID passive tag location finding
schemes using wireless signatures.

While I currently live and go to school in Madison, Wisconsin, I am a Minnesotan at heart, being from Shoreview, Minnesota.
I did my undergraduate studies at Augsburg College, a small liberal arts college in Minneapolis. I graduated from Augsburg
with a B.S. in physics with a minor in mathematics. At Augsburg I also did space physics research under Professor Mark
Engebretson. More details about this research can be found under the "Research" tab above.
