Hello and welcome to my website!
As of August 2014, I have joined the Technical Staff at MIT Lincoln Laboratory.
I'm a recent graduate of the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While there, my research focused on Human Factors within transportation safety. Specifically, I was interested in how feedback can alter teenage drivers' performance while driving distracted.
- Paper at Human Factors and Ergonomics Society Annual Meeting: My paper, entitled "Deciphering 140 Characters: Text Mining Tweets on #DriverDistraction" was accepted for publication in the proceedings of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society Annual Meeting.
- St. Louis American Article: I was featured in a newspaper article about finishing my PhD and my post-graduate plans. You can see it here.
- Article on Teenage Driving: I was recently interviewed for an article about teenage driving. You can see it here.
