Overview

This course introduces fundamental concepts in geometric modeling of engineering form, and computer-aided design of artifacts and assemblies. Lectures are reinforced by the laboratory experience where students operate modern commercial computer-aided design systems to design and to learn the basics of engineering communication, specification, and annotation.

Mid-term Exam: Tuesday, March 10th, 7:15 to 9:15 pm, Room 1106ME.
Finals Exam: Tuesday, May 12th, 10:05 to 12:05 pm, 2 hours, ROOM 1106 ME
It is the responsibility of each student to ensure that his/her final exams are sufficiently spread out. We cannot have make-ups.

Software: Unigraphics NX6, SolidWorks.
