Open Positions

I have two open positions at UW-Madison:

Research Assistant (MS or PhD student) to work on mesh generation algorithms.
Research Associate (Post-Doc) to work on the combination of mesh swapping and smoothing.

Current Research Interests

Dual-based hexahedral mesh modification
Geometry, mesh software components for scientific computing
CAD-based Monte Carlo radiation transport

Software

I'm responsible for the release and much of the development of the Common Geometry Module (CGM) and the Mesh-Orented datABase (MOAB), both of which are available for download under open-source licenses. These libraries are an integral part of my research on enabling technology software components for scientific computing.
