Having finally arrived at Madison on 12th August, we found accommodation for the first week at the Dorls. Special Thanks again to Nancy & Mike!
Wyalusing State Park
Our fist camping trip to the Mississippi River with Ivana and Wess on the Labor Day weekend. Crappy campsite and weird trains that someone wanted to have a closer look at at 5am.
Devils Lake
Fritz, Karina and me took advantage of that sunny day in the mid of Novermber and went to Devil's Lake, climbed some rocks and appreciated the food that Karina's mom had prepared for us. Thanks again!
Roadtrip Toronto
The most spontaneous road trip ever and despite snow storms a bodacious one: Chicago, Detroit, Niagra Falls and Toronto. Special Thanks again to Gabi and Theresa!
Halloween 2004
Halloween in Madison ... wow! On Friday oodles of parties, on Saturday 50000 Students on State Street - everything included: Riots, weird costumes, monkeys on trees ... the whole shebang.
California Winterbreak
Over winterbrake, I took a backpacking trip to California: San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Almost three weeks of rad cities, tubular beaches and a lot of newly-met friends.
Madison Winter
Winter in Madison is like ... I am blanking here but whatever it is like, it must be way colder than anything I've experienced so far. Temperatures below 0F without windchill ... I don't know how but we survived.
Springbreak Florida
Roadtrip over 3500 Miles with Amanda and Kelly: New Orleans, Tampa Beach, Orlando, Daytona Beach and Atlanta were the cornerstones of this bitchin' blast.
Madison Miscellaneous
Moments, snaptshots, ... diverse pictures of the last year of my live here in Madison.
Brunch @ Blair Street
Great brunch at our place on Blair Street on a Sunday morning with Emily, Amanda, Kelly, Mike, Dan, Simon and me.
Theme Party @ Kelly's
Theme Party at Kelly's and Amanda's Place: 'Wear that thing at the back of your closet which u never thought u'd wear again' ... what an awesome theme, what an awesome party!
High School Dance
Theme Party at Dan's Place: 'High School Dance' with spiked punch, cheesy music and a lot of glamorous people. We really missed out in Germany!
Party @ Blair Street
The second party at our place: A groovy shindig with the following leftovers: One emtpy keg, one cross on the fridge and Bill.
Mountainbike Race
The train of thought: A mountainbike race organized by Breeze, camping, delicious cookout, a beautiful szenerie and a lot of young, crazy people was tempting enough to attract Nik, Charles, Simon, Fritz, Joe, Niko and me.
Florida Disneyworld
Wow ... what a blast: Frozen Double-Cheesburger and Tacos for 6 days plus the free bananas at the Spa center. A lot of booze, a lot of 'Tack' and a nice golf-security guy.
Rafting Trip
13 people, 3 days, 2 rivers, 1 Karaoke bar and the most international campsite ever. Tubular ride on the Menominee River ... Paddle High Five!
Wine Party
What to do with 20 bottles of wine ... a wine party of course and a great one. Thanks for the hospatility and special thanks to Liz for the wine and to Sarah for the pictures. 'Suckapants and buttpirate'
Chicago
On a sunny Saturday in November, Joe, Simon and me took a second trip to Chicago. Sears Tower, Downtown, the Beach, the Pier and the most important thing - our car made it this time ... lucky us.
Camping @ Amanda's
Camping with horseback riding, rock climbing and freezing temperatures (below 0C) after sunset, although it was already at the end of April. I was so glad when then birds started to chirp and I knew: Only a few more hours of sleepless freezing.
Mifflin Street Block Party
With Halloween the second huge party event in Madison: 40000 Students partying on Mifflin Street all day long. Some are playing live music, some are just getting wasted and some Germans are getting arrested and a high fee, some even two of them.

Minneapolis
Our roadtrip to Minneapolis: A 4.5 hour drive each way in our overheating Toyota Corolla from 1988, enjoying the nightlife at Dinkie Town and Downtown, paying a visit to the Mall of America, camping at St. Croix River, meeting crazy High School kids and finally laying on the beach at Castle Rock Park.
