Prague Castle

On the west side of the river, high above the rest of the city, is Prague Castle. The castle currently houses the presidential palace and hence the ceremonial guard. From the walls of the castle, you can get a great view of the entire city, either by day or night.

St. Vitus' Cathedral

The castle itself is "crowned" by the impressive St. Vitus' Cathedral.


This is a sample of some of the carving which adorns
this 600 year long construction project!

From below, the cathedral is an obvious feature of the castle.
