Mini-Travelogue: Donner Lake, June 28-July 4, 2001

After many years, I decided to arrange a weekend together with some of my best friends from my days as an undergradudate in Toronto. After some prompting from me, Duncan took hold of the reins and we ended up spending a mix of days together in a rented house near Donner Lake, CA. With a vast array of arrival and departure dates, we did have nearly 2 days with all the following present: Duncan & Julie with their daughter Claire, Stephen and Dina, Ian and Kathleen, and Laurie, Moira and I.

Since we spent most of our time just hanging out and reacquainting ourselves there is not much to write about. This is really just a placeholder for the following photos. Duncan also has some photos online.

Here are some pictures of us all just hanging out and doing not much of anything.

We did manage part of a hike one day, cut short primarily by my inability to go farther with a baby on my back and the baby's own lack of desire to continue.

This panoramic shot was composed from three digital photos using Arcsoft's Panorama Maker 2000 software that came with my camera. This was my first time using it and I am quite impressed!
